Weekend Yoga Workshops

Generally held on a Sunday, I started sharing these longer practices when I was still working full time and teaching part time. I experienced a weekly Sunday afternoon/evening low as my thoughts turned to the working week ahead. The idea of Love Sunday was to create a new Sunday feeling, to start to love Sundays by staying very much in the present and recharging for the week ahead. That Sunday feeling was a big signal to me to start to change my life…but that’s another story!

These longer, slower sessions allow more time to explore the physical practice (asana), breath work (pranayama), meditation and relaxation. All levels are very welcome, although, if you’ve taken a few yoga classes previously, you’ll be able to get more out of the session. Please check out the individual workshop description below to find out more about each date. Open workshops take a break over the summer and restart in the Autumn.

I can also create a bespoke private event for you and perhaps family and/or friends. This could be your own mini retreat, designed around your requirements, with a combination of Hatha and/or Yin yoga, meditation, relaxation and Yoga Nidra. Restore and refuel with tea and cake or lunch as appropriate. From 2-6 hours with weekday and weekend slots available all year round, either at my studio or at venue options in and around Brighton & Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea or Worthing.

Love Sunday - Find Your Ground

Mellow the restless energy of Autumn with a slow, grounding and balancing Love Sunday. Nourish your reserves of energy, strength and understanding with a calm, steady Hatha practice, gently giving way to some Yin poses, taking the focus ever deeper and more inward. Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) closes our practice, allowing the mind to rest in conscious relaxation.
